Hey friend, I’m tera.

Midlife It is a virtual place for women that are curious, entering, or in the throes of the menopause to gather and laugh, cry, and empathize all the good, bad, and ugly parts of this midlife journey. Together, we’ll hopefully start replacing words like “someday” and “impossible” and “can’t” with words like “now” and “possible” and “hell yes.” After all, our lives aren’t over – far from it.  And our dreams don’t have to be “just dreams” if we believe.

middle age doesn’t always result in midlife crisis

As founder, creator, and visionary behind MidlifeIt.com, I’ve made some wrong turns in my life. Failed more often than not. But I’m like you, I’m still here. Still trying to find my flock or village or whatever the new age word for sisterhood might be. Either way, I’m grateful you’re here. Together, we can lift each other up and celebrate midlife with wit, warmth, and a little fire to keep us moving.

Some call it Midlife, The Change, Perimenopause. I call it my Awakening.

And while we’re all trying to navigate what path to take next, this site was created to bring awareness, honor, and belly-laughs to middle age women like me. Here, you’ll find a friend who'll be open and brutally honest about the many facets of:

• menopause, midlife, and marriage

• motherhood and parenting

• sex

• overcoming obstacles

• shameless funnies

• …and so much more

In the meantime, remember, if we overcame some of our worst [adolescent] years without Google, we can do just about anything!
