Helloooo Midlifers!

Tera from Midlifeit.com contacted me about my favorite cocktails. WHAT??????????? I love spilling the T on my favs. How did she know? Listen, you don’t have to be a bartender or event planner to do these cocktails. I would rate most of these on the “easy peasy” scale!

First, for all you non boozers, I have a favorite virgin (drink) to share:

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Brooklyn Crafted Lemon Lime Ginger Beer

  • 1 cup club soda

  • 3 tbsp lime juice

  • .25 cup grenadine

Instructions

  • Stir ginger beer, club soda, lime juice, and grenadine in a pitcher. Pour into tall glasses with ice. Garnish with lime rounds and or maraschino cherries.

Ingredients

  • 4 gingersnap cookies, crumbled

  • 1 tsp. honey

  • 3/4 c. coffee liqueur (such as Kahlua)

  • 2/3 c. vodka

  • 1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

  • 3/4 c. heavy cream

Instructions

  • Place crumbled cookies on a plate. Rub rims of 4 glasses with honey. Dip in cookie crumbs

    to coat.

  • Whisk together coffee liqueur, vodka, and pumpkin pie spice in a measuring cup. Pour in to prepared glasses, dividing evenly; top with ice. Divide 3/4 cup heavy cream evenly among glasses and serve immediately.

These alcohol infused frozen pops are fast, easy and great for porch sitting with the girls! No work required except a little cleanup. (Empties go in the trash).

5. Big Bucket Frozen Margarita Maker

You can buy the Big Buckets just about anywhere like Target or Walmart.

Just add your favorite brand of Tequila and freeze!

No need to pull out that blender and mess up the kitchen!

6. Classic Mimosa

Your favorite Prosecco and add a splash of OJ to taste.

This doesn’t have to be just for brunch either.

Celebrate anything and Mimosas are the go-to!

7. A Missy Spicey Cocktail

If you want something a slight bit spicey but less in calories, try my special Spicey Cocktail. Just use a tumbler of Sprite Zero or Diet Ginger ale and add an airplane size of Fireball. Great for football games and firepit nights!

8. Soccer Moms Fruity Thermos Punch

Remember all those sports banquets and award ceremonies when the kids were young? Giving out all the juice boxes to the kids and the moms can sit back and relax with some of my famous Mom Punch. We kept them in thermoses. Lol

Recipe

  • Add Vodka, Hawaiian Punch, Pineapple Juice, Ginger Ale and Orange Juice, to a pitcher, Big Thermos or Cooler.

  • Stir in one sliced orange and one sliced lemon. Chill for a few hours.

  • Serve with ice and fruit slices.

9. The Melon Baller Shot

Help out your local bar/restaurant by ordering a favorite drink of your own or one of the above. Tip graciously because times are tough and good help is hard to find!
